We Respect Your Creativity.
Your creativity inspires us ("Krafton" or "DETSDO PTY LTD." or "We" or "Company") and fuels our community. It’s because of creators like you that our worlds become more than just games—they become shared experiences filled with your unique perspective.
We're amazed at how you reimagine and expand our stories, and we want to ensure that you have the freedom to keep creating while respecting the principles we’ve set to protect our shared passion.
This guideline applies to the use of the game IP outside of Dinkum (“Game”)
1. THE BASICS
- How we define “Content”
- It’s simple: If the content you create uses Game IP (see below “The definition of Game IP”), we consider this to be the Content. This can range from fan-made art, sites, videos and streams, to anything else your creativity inspires you to make.
- How we define Game IP (Intellectual Property)
- The Game IP is an IP owned by the Company that is related to the Game, together with the title and all elements and contents thereof and related thereto, including but not limited to its lore, characters, images, music, and videos. To be safe, if you include Game IP in your work which can be interpreted as representative elements of the Game, you’re using the Game IP.
- Creator License
- The Company grant you a limited license to use, upload and create the Content without commercial purposes. Unless explicitly permitted by the Company, merchandising using the Game IP is not allowed.
- By creating the Content, you agree to indemnify the Company against any legal conflict or related financial liability unless caused by deliberate or gross negligence on our part.
2. Content Creation Guideline
- Friendly reminder: You are the owner of your creative Content (subject to the following conditions).
- The owner of the copyrights of any Game IP in your Content, is the Company.
